CREATIVE BLOGGER AWARD

creative-blogger

This is my second nomination for an award! Whole bunch of thanks to The Infinite Zenith for nominating me and for their kind words about this blog, much appreciated! Being rather new to the community I still have a long way to go but hopefully I’ll be more active and creative next year, too.

The award rules are as follows:

  • Thank the person who nominated you and include a link to their blog.
  • Share 5 facts about yourself.
  • Nominate 15-20 other blogs and add their links.
  • Notify the bloggers you nominated.
  • Keep the rules in your post to make it easy for everyone to know what to do.

Simple enough! Since this award is going around for a long while, it’ll be hard for me to find someone who isn’t nominated and I’m not even sure I am following 20 blogs so… I’ll see what I can do. (๑ ˃̵͈́∀˂̵͈̀ )

Here are my facts!

  1. I highly treasure the gifts I am given. I can share or give away anything and everything in my reach, apart from my books and the gifts, I really don’t have any possessive feelings towards anything. However, I will even keep it if you give me a piece of rock and say “Here, I picked it up for you.” so… I might be over the top a little, haha.
  2. Trusting others is really important for me. Because I have no reason to distrust strangers, they always start on the positive side of scale. Leaving my computer or wallet in the classroom when I go out or not locking doors are seen as minor or ‘logical’ actions but for me, it’s a sign of mistrust amongst the people around me and I don’t favor the way of thinking “Strangers are always dangerous.”.
  3. I learned that I subconsciously want to open up a manga store and translate manga officially into my native language (Turkish) from Japanese. One day, I woke up next to my significant other and told them this at 5 in the morning and when I got O.K. from them, I went back to sleep, happily; this is what I was told the next day.
  4. I want to cosplay as female Bokuto Koutarou from Haikyuu!! because he’s my favorite character in the manga. Though, I can’t seem to save up money to buy the necessities for cosplay because I always end up spending my money on merchandise and manga. *sobs in the corner*
  5. Hmm, last fact would be… I am a kendo practitioner for 4.5 years now and I am a sandan (3rd Dan). Funny thing is, my height is 164 cm and I always thought that I was okay, this is like a standard height for a Turkish woman. I never had any complex about it or thought I was short until I saw myself in a photograph in some kendo event. I was waiting in line to practice with someone and the line looked like this: ——-_—— That’s obviously me in the middle…
kendo
Kendo looks something like this. It’s a Japanese martial art.

As you can see, I’m a chatterbox. My nominations will be as follows and hope that they’ll pick it up because it’s always fun to learn something personal about the bloggers (and use these facts later on against them, mwaahaha!  ( ●`▽´● )Ψ)

Fudge Teddy Bears

Nikki no Otaku

(I specifically enjoy your collab. Maho Cafe, I hope you’ll continue doing it!)

The Limitless Imagination

This is all and thank you again for this nomination! I hope everyone is doing well and ready to party their hearts out on New Year’s. Merry Christmas and happy New Years!!

    1. ┬┴┬┴┤。・益・) OMG my evil plans, they’ve been found out! I was trying to lure you in with saying those things about trust and stuff and then BAM!

Seriously though, I’m glad you enjoyed the post. I checked every other photograph of mine and had to acknowledge that I was a short person… I mean how can one person not realize something like that??!! I’ve been living a lie ahahah, buuuu ( ー̀εー́ )

I hope you can keep it up, too! ^3^

      1. ahahaha, you’re not that short though, I’m 170cm. it must have been a shock for you, though, but it’s really not that bad. besides, it’s nice for a lady to be short(er), you can wear high heels and not feel like a giant 😀 besides, you’d be fine going to Japan 😀

    2. Ahahah it was a shock! But yeah, wearing high heels are nice and when I visited Japan this year I felt like I fit in; though in Europe I am a Levi stuck out of the walls, in a Titan’s world lol. Ah cool, so we are close in terms of height. Is it okay to ask where you are from?

  3. Aaaah sounds great! Yeah, thanks to kendo! xD In May, the World Kendo Championship was in Tokyo and I was lucky enough to be in the national team and been there for a week. Though I only had 2 days for myself so I didn’t have much chance to see a lot of places but it was so much fun! Have you ever been to Japan?

    1. Whoa, so cool…congrats!! I haven’t been to Japan yet, but I’d like to go 😊

On another note, WordPress didn’t notify me of your comment, so I only just saw it, hence my late reply, gomen ne…

      1. Sorry about that, I didn’t know there was a limit for consecutive messaging in the comments, mine was set to 3 lol. It felt strange that there wasn’t a ‘reply’ button and I had to comment separately. But I fixed it, so when I reply you’ll get a heads up.

I hope you’ll have the chance, it was so much fun and exciting to be there even if for a little while!

        1. whoa, I hope so, too! There’s some really messed up stuff going on in Japan, and Moro and I want to experience it first-hand O_O hahaha

Also, don’t worry about the comments, glad I checked your post again 😀

  4. Did you say this is your second nomination? Fufufufu, the next time I do an award post I am nominating you right back! xD

164cm is considered around here (I am in Asia, though xD). For me, I am a pathetic full grown 150 cm, so let’s just say … the grass is always greener on the other side! :p

    1. Haha yes, this is the second one, thank you for considering!

Whaa I see, you are shorter than me. Though like you said, in Asia, standard is around 150-160cm so I think we are both safe in terms of genetics, hehee (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑✧

By the way, good luck on your nomination posts, hope you won’t loose your determination halfway!
